We were out for most of the day and I would suggest it's a good place for essentials versus a place to center your vacation around as it was a pretty tight space for our family with one bathroom and not a lot of storage. Close to town, a nice park for the kids to play at and beautiful views. The host was very prompt in responding to all our queries. So much room, no one was in anyone else's space! This is a cozy cottage. We stayed as a group of 8 for the second year in a row and had the best time. The house is in a nice private location with a gated entrance. This unit is beautifully decorated, perfectly situated and well-equipped. And the kitchen was a dream! Speaking of the interior, the cabin boasts four bedrooms for eight guests, two bathrooms, a laundry room, and a full kitchen for you to cook in. About 10 members of the... Outdoor enthusiasts will be delighted by the scenic trails here, especially Sicamous Riverfront Nature Park on the bank of Eagle River. She's quick to respond and great with suggestions!
Not that you should take my word for it, we didn't have any kids along lol. For some active, family-friendly fun, you can also use the resort's common amenities including a tennis court, swimming area, and a horseshoe pit. This trail is especially gorgeous in the autumn when the leaves turn orange and fall to the ground. It met our needs perfectly! It was a pleasure to stay here and the owner was very very responsive. Known as the 'Houseboat Capital of Canada', Sicamous has several rental businesses that make it possible for visitors to embark on an exhilarating houseboat adventure.
There was no glory to be found guarding 'enemy aliens'--most of whom were civilians. The area is quiet and a short drive to the lake. It is one of the nicer houses in the resort, which has a variation of accommodations on the property. Lots for the kids to do! From here you can walk along the beach in front of Hummingbird Beach Resort to see the former site of Six Mile Camp.
