Santa Claus will once again be coming to town during the leadup to Christmas as he is joining forces with Turlock Fire Incorporated to bring back the popular Santa Firetruck.
Frank Saldivar has overseen the Santa Firetruck program since he joined Turlock Fire over 30 years ago. We look forward to seeing you soon and Santa is super excited to come visit just before his busiest day of the year. Routes and times are subject to change due to weather, emergency calls, the fire department volunteer availability and Santa's hours in his workshop. This year, Santa and the truck will head out to different Turlock neighborhoods every day until Dec. 21, beginning his routes at about 6 p. m. The truck typically drives around neighborhoods for two hours. On the annual Annapolis Santa Run toy drive, Santa makes 57 stops, to collect rather than give — though candy canes reward givers.
