Nearly a decade later, the Fog has expanded and includes Sinister Circus, a completely revamped haunted hayride, and Carsins Manor, their famous orphanage. Predictable enough (when an actor is going to present themselves) in the circus, but the fun and scary part is not knowing what character and what they are going to do. All the actors were amazing, especially the lady with white beards were guzzling on us. We arrived at Legends of the Fog around 6:30pm and there was no shortage of fellow haunt enthusiasts already onsite. A few times they even scared me. The Fog is an amazing movie... even though it is Rated R, it doesn't deserve that rating... as far as John Carpenter movies go, The Fog is most definitely not as scary or violent as Halloween, or The Thing, some of John Carpenter's other movies... as far a I'm concerned, there was absolutely no blood at all throughout the movie... however, there was the scene where the protagonist and a hitchhiker that he picked up, started having sex, and also, there is drinking, and smoking, and some swearing. I didn't go on the rides, but she did. The music is exactly what you would expect to hear in a circus, but deafening and out-of-tune.
