You can try to get around the issue messing with O2 sensors, but my feeling is that you'll be replacing the cat sooner or later. I'm not afraid of attaching the OEM connector to the new sensor. For instance, if there are 38 threads within one inch, then you divide 38 by 25. Spray the penetrating oil on the O2 sensor and allow it to sit for a good 20-30 minutes or overnight would be even better. The only issue is they are for a 2014, so the O2 sensors are the smaller 12mm. It also appears the O2 bungs are normally much harder than the sensor threads and so a chaser may well be sufficient to clear it.
If You google for the spark plug non fouler trick (using a non fouler as an O2 spacer on newer cars), it relies on the fact that most non foulers are the same size/pitch as O2 sensors.
