The location of the cabin was wonderful — close to many of the attractions (Hickory State Park, Boulder Field, Shades of Death). Thanks to Lance & Lisa for hoking us up with this place!!!! We ended up doing a beautiful hike to a waterfall at the Beltzville State Park and another day was spent in Jim Thorpe touring the area on the Lehigh Gorge scenic train. The cabin was nice, but a couple things need updating and the firewood could be better if drier! The views here are breathtaking! Lance & Lisa were fantastic - great communication both before and during our stay. You can hear the running waters of the Lehigh RIver from the cabin. The river, waterfall, and woods around the house had me feeling as if I'd walked into some distant fairytale land. I am an avid hiker so all the exercises were a walk in the park.

The owners gave us good info on picking up some firewood, the cabin was clean and the first floor had a great set-up for hanging out and playing cards and shooting some pool.
