Community conversation participants should plan to watch the Learning Module before joining the conversation. 27 is excited to host foster/adoptive parents and those who work with vulnerable children for a time of in-person encouragement and trauma-training from a faith perspective. It's a rejuvenating training – a day for families to feel held and cared for. The fundamental belief that underlies the teachings of the conference is that every human being has great capacity to grow and overcome adversity when cared for in supportive, connected and nurturing environments. The conference remains low-cost, high-impact as Show Hope also works to resource churches, agencies, and other organizations as they support and equip the families, caregivers, and the communities they serve. It is Show Hope's aim that parents and caregivers will leave encouraged as they continue to journey well with their children.
